Default Hello all I have a question - 06-04-2003, 07:39 PM

Just wanted to introduce myself and then I have a question. I have been playing MOHAA since it first released; however I am a noob at posting on forums. I have been reading this forum regularly and have learned a lot. I know in the past there have been discussions about anti-cheat scanning picking up non_cheating pk3's as hacks. This has happened to me a couple of times. The first instance was on the Son's of Liberty server and the most recent on the =MCT= server. I was playing with Dr. Deleto and he told me he was picking up N skins. I told him what I had and he was very nice but told me the server would kick me. It did. I have the old SS raider skin pack (from the old 173d days), Dr. deletos custom crosshairs, a micheal myers and hitler skin,a blood mod, and a sound mod. Any ideas on which one is causing problems? I removed all skins but I was banned from the server. If anyone knows Deleto, could u ask him to reply to me to see about getting unbanned. I enjoy the server and props to the guys with city nights. While its not a total conversion, I think it's damn could considering EA support =0. Any help appreciated --------TY

Well I know hitler is on some cheatskin list even if its not the same skin. It would be a good idea to take that 1 out.

Thanks Clubber. Hitler has been banished. Never used him anyway.

Picking up N skins...

Thats caused by playing on a server with fucking 'Counter-Intelligence', it renames your skins sometimes like 'allied_army_N' as its checking you out.

We pick up people all the time with this weird problem oOo:

Hey Hogman, Deleto's my best friend in MOH. He's not the type to just boot you without a reason, so if you got booted it was an auto-kicker, not an admin. Honestly I cant tell you what it might have been, you sound legit. I'm not going to tell you the mad scientists email address , cause he gets alot of spam, and just recently had to change it, but if you WANT to get in touch with the man in person, go to our web site at WWCElite.com , and post your question in our forums, youll get a quicker answer. And if I can remember to ask him next time we play, I will , but he's working on another conversion project, so he's a busy boy. Youll probably have quicker results just posting your question for our site. Sorry I couldnt help more, but I hope this was useful. (WWC) Quiet Fury

Thanks for the replies. I just deleted any non-stock skins except for city nights package and have not had any problems. I have since been able to get back on the server. Like I said, Deleto was nice about it. I'm glad he told me the problem so I could rectify it.
