Grenades: So far I love 'em. But...

Nitpick 1: US Mark II grenade is shown with safety lever held by fingers. Lever should always be depressed into palm.

Nitpick 2: German 'potato masher' grenade has no safety lever. Once you ignite fuse, you throw it. You can't carry it indefinitely. However, I understand the game balancing aspect here.

Nitpick 3: Grenade alt-fire should be for milking the grenade (letting the fuse burn off a bit). Haven't found a use for underhanded throw..yet.

All in all I give the grenades a passing grade. Unlike the lame grenades in Wolfenstein.

Idea for grenade realism mod (anyone want to give it a shot?):

Pinneapple Granades:
Main fire pulls out pin. Letting go of main fire throws grenade (releasing safety lever).
Secondary fire pulls pin and tosses grenade a short distance if the main fire isn't held down. If the main fire IS held down, tapping secondary fire lets go of safety lever and allows you to milk the grenade. Milking the grenade while doing a short underhand throw is not possible, but why would you want to?

Potato masher Axis grenade:
holding down main fire milks grenade, letting go throws it.
secondary fire throws grenade a short distance but doesn't allow milking

I don't understand what your concern is, you are relating a real life piece of artillery towards a video games model, dude what's wrong with you, what do u expect?

I'm not flaming you man, I'm just asking you what's your issue man, you can be full of so much criticism on the game, it can only go so far.

Trust me I've been playing the full version lately and you'll be extremely impressed. When u throw a grenade it doesn't blow up for 5 sec, (seems like a long time) in the demo it takes less time to explode.

That's okay man. I'm just having fun here. There isn't anything wrong with me (that I know of). I am very impressed with the game so far and will buy it when it comes out.

Like I say, these are nitpicks, which by definition means: To be concerned with or find fault with insignificant details.

The 3D modellers have done a great job.
