I picked up on that too. I was waiting for the *PING*...no *PING*. He musta used the Force.

I didn't like this movie at all.

don't you just love it when the prop guys and military advisor go all out to get authentic weapons and some chickenshit editor cuts the film up so these kind of things happen biggrin:

ya that is funny when that happens and i did notice that the clip dosent make the ping but also the clip that sarge hands him is also for a bolt action not m1

I am pretty sure the clip looked like this:

the Garand clip has offset rounds, so it looks like it has five like a stripper-clip instead of the eight it really has.

One other question:

When in Kasserine Pass and they dug holes for the tanks to roll over them, the tanks role right over holes and you hear them screaming. Is it killing them or just the sudden weight of the tank on their heads?

I think that's what you call newbies getting really scared.

I think you wouldn't be cool calm and collected if a 30 ton vehicle rolled over you.
