Yeah, I really like their new one. I know alot of people don't, but I do. Glad to see them go back to the sounds of the 'Kill 'em All' days! |

No they are not the same sounds, but the style is the same. Alittle harder and more raw then what they have been putting out. Where in the hell do you get "sellouts" from? My god man, get a grip. |

Agreed, the two records sound nothing alike. Man, I'd like to know how they "sold out" with this record, though.
There's no ballads, there's little radio-friendly content, Pushead is back doing the cover art. I don't get it. No guitar solos...is that what you're basing your "sellout" assumption on? Big friggin' deal.

They release the heaviest record they've made in well over a decade and still people shit all over them. Keep listening to the album and it'll grow on you. Maybe it's too complex for most people...I don't know.

I wasn't overwhelmed with St. Anger after my first listen, but damned if I stopped listening. Now, I won't take it out of my car CD player.

Tell me that "Dirty Window", "Shoot Me Again", "Sweet Amber" and "All Within My Hands" aren't heavy tunes...if you can say that, you know nothing about heavy music. Go listen to TheoryOfALinkinNickelDefault.

Metallica grew up. I guess some people didn't grow with them.

The use of stock filters in the background is kinda lame. |
