I installed auto kick but can't seem to get it to work. I want to run autokick and play on the same pc. I guess it needs to have instructions for dummies included with it because I just can't seem to figure it out. Please help

try going to http://www.mohadmin.com it seems to have everything related to hosting your own server.

yes you can. ive been doin it for a year and a half. it works great.
