I think that thing behind the trigger-handle is the stock, and the rear of the barrel/breech rests on your shoulder like a bazooka maybe?

And Inny, it does have a stock, just behind the trigger and grip, below his elbow. I've seen that weapon before, I can't remember the name, but it's an anti-material sniper rifle.
