Lately, most games have been insulting players with pathetic unsatisfying endings that either occur abruptly or just down right suck.

Unfortunately, it looks like MoH:AA is going to be yet another member of the games with shitty endings club.

The review at Invisible Dream claims, "...the game leaves you with an anti-climatic ending..." and IGN's review indicates the game has an "...abrupt sort of ending..." so it doesn't look like we have a lot to look forward to after finishing the game.

While it looks like some will probably end up bitching and moaning at 2015 about the game's ending (if the contents of these two reviews turn out to be true), most people are already used to playing games that are fun to the last minute and then boot you off with terrible ending.

So do any of you really care about game endings?

More importantly, if MoH:AA ends up having a crummy ending (like those reviews are hinting), will it really matter to you or will you honestly be pissed off?

I'm just curious to see what other people think about this...

THIS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS...

We've all sat there after completing a game and gone, "Is THAT it? What a crappy ending!"

But this game takes the cake.

The ending you'll all see is almost appropriate if the game were to contain absolutely no plot, even then it should have some kind of conclusion, or hint at things to come. But because this game does have a plot of sorts it should wrap up in some manner or other.

I wonder what 2015 were thinking?

I heard people saying that the ending was really bad, and I said I didn't care, either, as long as the game was fun. But when I got to the end myself, I was shocked. It's extremely abrubt and there's NO effort put into it AT ALL.

All it would have taken to appease me would be even just a screen saying 'Your actions during the war helped bring down the Nazi regime.. blah blah blah." Or even just a short 3D cutscence, but there's NOTHING. It's really bad. Makes you really think 2015 just rushed this out for cash or something and it doesn't seem like they care. That's not a good thing, I want this game to succeed.

But luckily I just played multiplayer for hours and it rocks my socks.

I use to care about endings until, i forget which mario brothers game it was. All mario got was a god damn cake from that anorexic princess and her turdstool hand-maiden.

Given infinite resources and infinite time, I'm sure we'd have had an infinitely great ending.

The converse is also true.

Ever heard of "delays"???

And yes, I just read from another forum what the game's ending was...it's poor. Very poor.

Playing this game seems like a waste of time on SP.

Kinda sucks there is no cutscenes or something at the end.
But the gameplay looks good.

Given an hour, a sufficient enough ending for many people could have been whipped up. How long does "THE END" take to type, again?

I might not even get this game. But I probably will. I think it's just shoddy the way they did the end. *won't spoil it for anyone who doesn't wanna know what happens*

I dont blame 2015 for all of MoHAA's short comings. I know EA and their history of butchery, dumbing down, and out right mistruths.
I wish 2015 employees the best of luck.

Here's a follow up on Capn_Crunch's post courtesy of a line from Billy Madison:

quote:
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

A simple no would've done just fine.

Miss Lippy, the part of the story I don't like, is that the boy stops looking for his dog after an hour. He just sits on his porch like a goon, he didn't put up posters or anything. That boy's gotta think "You got a pet, you got a responsibility! You can't just look for an hour and call it quits. So you get your ass out there and you find that fuckin' dog!

They had to make a choice. or implament MultyPlayer, or finish the last 6 month's polishing the SP.

If ya'll could have made that choice, what would it be, MP? .... Exactly!

Oh! and why am i the only one who lost he's Post Count ?
