Regarding the King Tiger mission where you have to use your binoculars on the tanks to radio your bombers so that your King Tiger tank can get accross the bridge.

Does anyone know how to pass that part?

Been trying it over and over but just can't seem to get it. I eliminate the soldiers trying to detonate the bridge with my sniper rifle but my tank keeps getting blown up because my bombers can't take out those tanks in time.

Can anyone help here?

Thanks,

Kevbocat

there are two points where tanks comes up and shoot your tiger tank...send the bombers to those two places...

nahh..I had my frustrations here too,but I was doing it wrong. I binoculated (not a real word..is it?) to two points where I know the tanks will end up.

First place is far back beyond the bridge (alot of tanks resides there over and over.) Keep clicking there and watch your back every time. You'll noticed just beyond the horizon, another tank just over the other side of bay is coming toward the bridge. Don't bother trying to get the planes to hit it (you could but need timing) That tank will end up on just on the other side of your tiger tank. That's the second spot, aim there but only when the tanks are there.

I finished the game on hard, dunno how easy it gets a notch lower or two. This is how I pass this sub-mission. I went after the tank all the way in the back first, then I turn around and drop a nade in that stairway (enemies will back off if you're early with the nade, they will charge you if you're late) then I went after the tank in the far back again, also noticed the other tank over the bay is coming up to the bridge, I pulled out the thompson and took out two guys coming from behind. Then I aimed the binocular at the far back again, noticed the tank coming on the bay, I then threw another nade in the stairway and aimed binocular at the second place. Killed the two guys sneaking up and then repeat from the begining.

If you're outta nade, good luck. BTW, pay attention to tiger tank health, if you're tank is down to 30 by the end of second nade in stairway...start over.

Thanx Big'O nutsacs

I'l' try doing what your recomending. I barely have any infantry opposition. I eliminated all the infantry men before I got to the tower so when it does come time to get them tanks, all infantry opposition is minimal. I usually only have to deal with one guy outside the tower.

So, I should aim the binoculars at the ending point that those tanks will be at then? Is that correct?

Thanx for the help again...I'll see how I get along on this mission. It really is racking the nervous system though and I really don't want to resort to using cheats because that just spoils the whole game in it's entirety.

Try to keep clicking on the tanks with the binoculars until you hear on the radio that the target is aquaired or something.

Dont forget people come up behind you

don't try to get the tanks while they're moving to the position...wait til they get close to the position and then send the bombers. takes about 5-10 secs for the bomber to rain on the target. by the time the tanks get in position...hopefully your bombers will hit them b4 they get a shot off at your tank

Just try to alert the bombers of the tanks on the right before they get too close, then just radio in the tanks in front of the King Tiger. Remember, the tanks come from two places.

Hey Guys...

I keep clicking on the tanks with my binoculars but it just seems like a constant barrage of tanks. They don't stop coming out. It's just one after another after another.

There are two ways from where you start the game that you can take to the tower. I took the shortcut, eliminated all the infantry....I then doubled-back and took the long way around eliminated the infantry as well along the way. I found that that helped me when it came time to radio in for the bombers. I have less infantry personnel to deal with. The only problem I have are the tanks my friends. I must have destroyed about a good 6-8 tanks but it just seems like more keep showing up and my King Tiger gets mauled by too many shells.

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. I take it that you guys quickly advanced this part of the game.

Still can't pass this freakin mission... It just seems like after they blow out the tower and I have to get back down to ground level, the binoculars do not seem to want to respond. I click on them but I don't hear any planes approaching to do their bomb drop. I don't get the "affirmative" command from the pilots down on ground level either like when I'm up in the tower.

Anyone have any words of advice?
