Do i need to buy DoD retail to play with people or since I have HL and CS, can I just download it and play?

You can do either, but I suggest d/l because it's free.

PS - I will own all of you with my Garand. Anyone who says it's a crappy weapon will gladly meet the end of my beautiful rifle.

I own with my Carbine. I absolutely kick ass with it. And the M1 Garand doesnt suck, i can still kick ass with it, but better with Carbine

ok, i have Half Life just recently installed, and I downloaded the Day Of Defeat 1.0 version from their website, I installed it, but when I try to play, it says unable to load Half Life .dll or something similar to that.

What is causing this? Do I need to update/patch my version of Half-Life?

Yes, downloading the latest patch is HIGHLY recommended.

i tried to install half life so i could get d0d to work, but when i clicked on autorun on the half life disc to install it it says "cannot recognize 16 bit windows file" so i right clicked it and went into properties , and set the compatibility to windows 98. i tried it again, but i got the same error. how the hell do you install hl? wont work on my xp cry:

the mg42 is a good weapon when u know when and where to use it.
mg42 holding hallways, tunnels, short distances, with light to medium enemy activity.

the mg34 is good for covering fire over long distances, but the short amount of ammo really f*cks you up.

DoD is the best game ive bought ever as far as gameplay.
Moh is just run and gun.

I personally play on a server called clan KIR. its always full (good battles), and its usually the lowest ping server. but watch your mouth in there, youll get banned for saying stuff like "homo" and "pussy", which is really gay

i must add that the overheating DOES SUCK.
