This game is flat out bad. The Single Player was going great until "You are alone, infiltrate this, then exfiltrate". Last time I checked, 2015, Rambo was NOT in World War 2. Omaha was the lone bright spot, but that was short lived. I give Single Player a C just for Omaha.
Multi-Player...worst MP I have ever seen. Netcode is horrific, maps are nice, but netcode ruins the multi player experience. There is NO teamwork, just DM.
Omaha is probably the biggest let down in years. The map is ruined by allowing snipers on Omaha. There is no point to defend the beach, just defend the guns, which is not the experience you want. All the maps seem good, but yet again, netcode and DM ruin it.
Grade: F
Graphics: Nice, but there is better. The GI's look like they don't have eyes. B+
Models: Most of the gun models look good, but they are too small. DoD portrays them better. Grade is a B.
Sound: They nailed the Kar 98k head on, everything else from then on went down the shitter. Explosions are very well done. MG42 is horribly done though. C is the grade.
Overall: Major disappointment. I expected a small amount of realims, not Serious Sam in WW2. Not that Sam is bad, I just expect hoardes of enemies from Sam, and I get them.
2015 dropped the ball, and in a BIG way.
Overall: D, not even worth a warez download.

The lag was the same when the demo was released. Just wait until the dedicated servers come up.

Oh yes, professionals in every aspect of life are better then the no one's out there. What a joke. Professional Reviewers just want Arcade Gameplay that is fun. They got it. Are they happy? Yes! Does the game depict WW2 at all?
NO!

I'd hardly say it doesn't depict WWII at all, and how would you know what the reviewers judge when grading a game. They've seen hundreds and they can recognize a gem when they see one.
I realize that it is not even remotley close to a 100% realistic game but think of they gameplay issues if it was. It would be damn near unplayable if you were seriously wounded or killed by one shot (at least with some of the missions they give ie: Omaha) How would you like to reload the map 100's of times after you've been raked with machinegun fire as the ramp drops?
I agree with you about snipers on Omaha, and think that a patch should be added with class limits, but if it frustrates you that much move on to a different map.

overall - i tend to AGREE w/ Cerberus,
CS still beats this game for the BEST mp experience - but remember Cerberus - this is just the START for mohaa - u will recall the way HL/CS looked when it first came out - what? 3 YEARS ago now??
mohaa mp will be very popular and grow - there WILL be mods and it will improve.
i stand with Cerberus - with a few exceptions;
the SOUNDS are simply the BEST i have ever heard - weapons & ordinance A+ - eveything sounds fantastic - the voice work is perfect.
AI = B- DAMN hard - very good;
models = D+ they suck. the player models and weapons need SERIOUS help;
maps = C+ very authentic scenes - very realistic looking - good architecture - but high r_speeds in some maps (those with tress notably) cause LOTS of system burden and bring even a powerful sys to a slow down;
STILL - this game grabbed me wouldn't let go until the very end - I LOVE IT!

they hafta add a lil rambo into it or else right from the first mission you would be killed every two seconds cuz it would take one bullet. that would really suck.

Surely you don't mean little old me voss?
I never flamed him and I made intelligent commentary on his posts, mostly I'm sick of everyone posting his or her own review of the game when most major publications have given it high marks, but I'm just a dumb minnesota kid who needs smarter people then me to review stuff like this. (no slight against you cerberus, I've just been seeing a lot of these lately)
And I also disagree with his sound grade, my copy hasn't arrived yet but with my experiences with both the sp and mp demos I'd say the sound was great!

it's funny how you give this game a bad review, seeing as how the MP DEMO, keyword DEMO had twice the amount of people playing then RTCW. And what, 2 days after release there are already 600 retail players going at it. With this kind of response, it doesnt matter how shitty you review it, people still like it. It's all bout the gamers.
