Anyone have trouble getting your airstrike to hit the tanks that come along the road to the right? I never get confirmation of the airstrike seeing their location...my tiger tank gets smashed eventually...I can take out the tanks straight ahead (facing the view of my tank)...peace...

I'm having the same exact problem. Mission has been stressing the hell out of me. I just can't seem to get the confirmation as well. I can get the confirmation fine when I'm stationed in the tower but after they blow the tower up and I have to make my way down to ground level, communication doesn't seem to work with the bombers.

Any help would be great from anyone?

Thanx,
Pinned down King Tiger......

after playing games like Panzer Commander, I can tell you what you need is a good hull down position first of all. Hull down is where the main base of the tank is covered, but allows the turret free range of movement and firing. Example: hedgerows, stone walls, burning vehicles, etc.

After you secure one, you need to ascertain if you can return accurate fire at all at the Tigers that are shooting at you.

I mean, if the airstrikes won't take them out, then you're gonna have to do it yourself. That's what the PAK-43 88mm gun mounted on your King Tiger is for, eh?

Ok...I got past it...to get an airstrike on the tanks to the right you need to focus it in the right part of the binoculars and have a tank from straight ahead in the left part...damn, was that frustrating...

I can't seem to freaking pass this mission. I must be doing something wrong. I've tried this thing over and over and yet to no avail.

How did you pass the mission? I tried what you said about using the left part of the binoculars for the frontal tanks and the right side for the right tanks. It just doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I'm fine when it comes to sitting up in the tower and calling the airstrikes. They work wonderfully, but then when the tanks take out the tower and I have to go to ground level, I can't seem to call the airstrikes from down there. I never get a comfirmation on the strike and I don't see the bomb drop at all. I'm standing on the bridge to the right of the tank when calling the airstrikes from the ground. Am I standing in the wrong spot? Should I go into the house on the right and call them from the window? I tried that and that didn't work either?

Help? S.O.S?

Wow, finally passed it. Damn, I didn't even see the stairs in the house to the right of the bridge. Went to the second floor and took out the remaining tanks. A little opposition but mission completed.

Thanx for the help everyone.

Thanx for the tip Bogus3140

Its really quite simple, when you read the mission outline did you see the part where it says, you may need to change buildings to get an accurate view. Well, after you take out the plunger runners, go across the street into the other building, it gives you a clear view so that you can call strikes on all of the tanks. Hope this helps.
