Hi I was wondering how to go about changing the MOTD for Spearhead?

I went to the Guide section and found "How to change the MOTD (message of the day) Guide"http://www.mohadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=19
Following these simple steps I was unable to change my MOTD in Spearhead, I feel this is because the Guide was referring to MOHAA not MOHAAS.
note: I start my server via Spearhead Server Setup.exe

I'm running a server dedicated to hosting the STALINGRAD MAP and thought it would only appropriate to include the following in the MOTD-

"The intensity of fighting can be seen from what one Wehrmacht lieutenant wrote: "We have fought fifteen days for a single house. The front is a corridor between burnt-out rooms; it is the thin ceiling between two floors... From story to story, faces black with sweat, we bombard each other with grenades in the middle of explosions, clouds of dust and smoke, heaps of mortar, floods of blood, fragments of furniture and human beings... The street is no longer measured by metres but by corpses... Stalingrad is no longer a town. By day it is an enormous cloud of burning, blinding smoke; it is a vast furnace lit by the reflection of the flames. And when night arrives, one of those scorching howling bleeding nights, the dogs plunge into the Volga and swim desperately to gain the other bank. The nights of Stalingrad are a terror for them. Animals flee this hell; the hardest stones cannot bear it for long; only men endure."

You could use the Spearhead RUNNER program (from mohadmin.com) to start your game. It allows you to set the MOTD as you like, and many other things as well.

Thank you, I've had a look at Spearhead Runner application and I was feeling pretty good about this config app until I noticed the [MOVEMENT:] Section which is far more advanced than Spearhead Server Setup.exe ie;

Spearhead Server Setup.exe -

Fast Run Speed on\off

Spearhead Runner -

Movement:

Walk Speed 0-5000
Run Speed 0-1000
Velocity 0-10,000

Conclusion-

How ever would I enable "Fast Run Speed" that Spearhead Server Setup.exe has in Spearhead Runner? oOo:

Start a game with the app you were using. On another computer join the game. Now bring up the console (~) and type serverinfo. Look through the prompts and you will find the speed settings.

In the RUNNER program you can also change the gravity. Set it to 1100 and people won't get on the roof in Verschelit. Default is 800.

Can only be used for dedicated servers.

Thanks Johnj but I think I will stay away from the spreahead runner app and look for a standalone messaging utility.
