Gaining Medals?

Hi everyone, I have got 3 medals so far (Operation Torch, Omaha Beach, and the Sub mission) and want to know what everyone else has got and how they did it? I have passed the hedgerows / Nebelwerfer level without gaining a medal and suspect I missed something. BTW, I am playing on hard if this makes a difference...

One from Afrika,
One from Omaha,
and one from (I forget) lol!

My medals dont show up ?
I finished a few missions there was a text that stated that ive got a medal, but the box is empty ?

Any one ?

Check your medal box
I got some, but then redid the missions and then lost them but they are still in my medal box

I have no medals becasue i have played not the game until i purchase the game that is the question to the awnser.

hey i did a thread on this yesterday. seems this ones more polular though, hehe

ive got 5 after i finshed the game. couple you get just by completing missions, but most of them you get by doing bonus objectives. For eg. rescuing the POW on the SAS agent resue mission (M1, Part2). Another is stealing the crew manifest on the U-boat. Another medal you get for keeping your entire tank crew alive during the sniper mission. You get a medal for completing Omaha and for finshing the game.

Tks Agent, that explains my Operation Torch medal

A friend got one for the tank crew mission too so I know about that one in advance - There are 8 slots for medals and 6 missions so I'm wondering how they make up the other 2 slots (if it is indeed a medal per mission...)

dude, I live in STL and got the game 2 days ago

although, im sure most places have it now, I drove to stclair square over in IL and got it on tues.
