how do you know if you have the US version or not..i'm pretty sure i have it, but when i try to install the patch, it says it can't find it!! sux!

is this download useful for online players like me, I don't own any game server, I just log on to play.
Am I missuderstanding something here, but I think this patch is for the server administrators, right???

You have to install this patch if you want to play on updated 1.1 version servers.

I think its not only for server side. Eg. it has an ingame browser too and nobody knows what else in this patch.

People, what is the matter with all of you. Havent you ever played games online before???
The patch is an update for the game, which everyone can install, it is not server-side only. Usually patches add features, fix bugs and just on a whole, update the game.
Not everyone has to install the patch, but it would be stupid not to, not to mention, you wouldnt be able to play on all servers running the new patch if you didnt update yours. Im sure right now there are plenty of servers still using the original game without the patch, so you may be able to join games now, but wait till everyone hears there is a patch. Then you will have a problem. I suggest you DL it now, and wait till you see everyone is running the patch to install. You will want to install it.

Ugh.
Everyone HAS to download this patch. It is for everyone! Yes it's an official patch and yes it's for the full retail version in NA.
I'm pretty sure it hasn't been released anywhere else yet...so you shouldn't even be questioning it...unless you have a warez version.
painkiller, agreed. I can't believe people don't know this stuff already....full patch description is on the front of this site, as well as fileplanet when you download the friggin' thing!
