stuck...or bad AI?

second mission I think..the sub one, where the Major is in the guard tower and you are supposed to snipe all the guards and cover him while he lets you in. I kill all the guards but he never comes. If I back up and look up through the guard house window, I see him walking in place as though he is stuck on something. Tried shooting him..no good. I stand around forever, but no other guards come. Any idea??????

is this the level with the snow? he's supposed to walk out and open the gate when he radios in that you can see him in the building. have you tried restarting? i haven't run into any problems like this so it must be a glitch.

yeah, it's the snow level. restarted the level 3 times, he seems to get stuck up there every time...

Do you snipe all the guards befor he walks outta the bilding?
Your not supposto shoot anything until he opens fire first... This may not be of any help at all, but just trying to help..

nope doesn't work. I stay back to snipe after he says he's going to take em out. I wait for him to start firing but he never does. I look up through the guard house window, and there he is...still walking in place, like he's stuck on something.

hmmm, i think i killed the guards early too because i don't remember him ever firing a shot before opening the gate. i just remember taking out the guards with my sniper rifle. he says something about me being able to see him in the window. he walks out. goes to the gate. i run over and he opens the gate. you might have to try reinstalling.

Your not alone, Same thing..Pissing me off.
Game runs smooth for me. Except first fighting the thing tring to connect up using "Remote Access Auto Connect Manager"(Made me nervous). Not sure if I got that one licked for sure.
Back to your topic, ARRG..Ill restart that mission again..Let me know if you get past that glitch..I'll do the same.

Let him start to open the gate--then shoot--he gets shot anyway--then youre on your own.

i'm in same place on the first level where there is snow, I start to go slowly up, sneaking and then i see the guy wave and then he walks in place, never making it down the stairs and outside to open the gate for me.

I have tried running up and not shooting and waiting - didn't work

I have tried going slow - sneaking and waiting behind a rock, - also didn't work

Any tips to how you overcame this prob?

otherwise i'll jus reinstall - But maybe not i really mainly only play multiplayer
