SIMPSONS: HIT AND RUN -

Well my run of RELEVANT AND ORIGINAL TOPICS continues.
Funniest. Game. Ever. I thought MDK2 was a funny (and frustrating as hell) game. Hell VICE CITY was the last GREAT/FUNNY game I played. Should it be any suprise that the SIMPSONS manages to top all them. I've only had about an hour to play this game, but lord help me its great.
At the start you realize something funny is going on when Mechanical Bee's are showing up around Springfield. Well the Simpsons start to discover this when Marge ask you to go to the KwikEMart to pick up one of thoe gallons of ice-cream with the Pie in the middle. Thats right. Through this Bart gives you a tutorial. When the controls for the car come up he says "The buttons are just the same as every other game like this" - which is a self-referential dig at itself since HIT AND RUN is basically GTA Simpsons style.
The game could have been shitty. With other writers it would have been. However - the writers from the Simpsons are the writers on this game. Which means the missions are funny as hell. The mission after the first one is a simple race, where you must get Lisa her science fair project BEFORE Principal Skinner gets to school. If Skinner beats you (which he did by cheating), he says "Ahhhhh. . .dont cry over spilt MALK." If you get that reference and know what the hell MALK is, then you're going to enjoy the rest of this game. Even the loading screens are funny - the first loading screen you'll see is :
"Local man (homers picture stuffing his face) ruins Hot Dog Eating contest". And just below that one in true Simpsons fashion is "90% of videogames start with a tutorial studies say".
Right now the only bad thing is the camera contorl, but you didnt come for that - you came to play a good Simpsons game, and this one delivers. Hell where else are you going to drive Chester Lampwicks Rocket Car (which I have, and it is fast - but GT with a Woman has better moves than the rocket car).
The game I have "mysteriously" doesnt have the movies on it, but its worth it and I'll more than likely get it full later. Full DVD release that is. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! - Yes. I am that evil.
