It's the shear fact of it being ground-breaking in the multi-player gaming. Never before on a console could you have an 8 on 8 game, on which I have had on numerous occasions. That is what was so earth-shattering. You have to remember there was no such thing as system link before xbox.[/quote:d47f0]
I would have to disagree. PS1 had a link cable. Jet MOto 2 and 3 supported it. So did red alert retaliation.
