MOH:AA:SH and BT was just a money stunt by EA, they both sucked so much compared to AA they didnt take the time to actually make there own damn MP maps in SH they took them from users i beat u can find half the maps from SH on this site to download.

Actually they only took two maps from users, Gewitter and Stadt.

I must say. Thunder is probably the best known custom map. The oldest one I remember playing is "The Farm." Or something like that. And I wrote a report on mohaa for school, LOL. It was in some typing class in 8th grade.
Well over 2 years ago.. Shit. I've been playing longer than I thought.

I still can't believe you fools actually expect a fucking GAME to be perfect, and the be-all, end-all to your computing experience. Get off the bitch wagon already, and play the game for what it is, a game.
ON TOPIC-- I actually prefer SH, aside from the things so bitched about. And as for the two user maps included with it, those are contest winners, from people that worked their asses off to provide a good gaming experience for you shitheads. And they won, out of many entries. Show a little respect.

Nobody dissed or shows disrespect for the map makers, they are both good maps but it shits me to think EA use this as an excuse to expand their map count.
Slaggg, we don't expect a game to be perfect, but a expansion pack shouldn't be a money stunt/MOHAA 1.12 patch. For an expansion 2 years yonger than the original game, it doesn't really make the game much better. EA just thought they would get all the bugs from MOHAA, patch them, add a few maps and weapons, and have the balls to call it a 'Expansion pack'.
Wouldn't be suprised if EA announces "Our next expansion; Spearthrough will hold a mod content for the best mod! That's right, if you can make the best mod for US, we'll rip it off and publish it on our own behalf!"

Trust me, I see your point. But why get your panties into a bunch over it? It's a game. And I think some people may be missing the point of the term 'Expansion Pack'. An Expansion Pack is not meant to be a whole new experience, but rather another game that EXPANDS the original game. The Publisher decided to invest money into hiring, and providing materials for, a new team that has new ideas, but wanted to release something for the community in a timely fashion. And, admitedly, to make more money for the corporation as a whole.
I honestly believe that no one person or organization is at fault for putting out a product that is so maligned within the core community. I believe the people that worked on the project honestly put their best feet forward and tried to make the best Expansion Pack they could, given the materials and time constraints given them.
With that said, I have to return to my first point. You guys have to understand that this is a business, like any other. Entertainment is not just about pleasing people, but about having the vision to see what pleases people and capitalize on it. Hence all of the movie sequels that come out, all of the spin offs of TV shows, all of the game expansion packs.
The simple fact, at the bottom line, is that so many people are still playing this game, online, and some are spending money to do so. (Renting Servers). That alone says a lot about a game that so many people claim to never play, or says is shit.

For me, i like all the Mohaa games, they keep me interested in playing. I cant play one game all the time, i need a change. I dont see whats so bad about the other games. I get bored of playing the same levels over and over again. The expansion packs give you a challenge because you dont no the levels to well and you have to explore and find out like where you can hide etc. In MoH:AA I no where most of the people are hiding because i have been playing a long time. I am not putting down the MoH:AA game but its nice for a change once and a while.
All the Medal of Honor Allied Assault Games are good.
