iron maiden never covered Where Eagles Dare. its on their 1983 album Peace of Mind, about allied paras attacking the Eagles Nest in ww2. theyve never done a single cover song.

anyway, im downloading a video guitar lesson with Adrian Smith (Iron maiden guitarist), 7mb of 30mb, so far its half way thru the walm up.
havent listened to anything in a while, last thing i listened to was Tailgunner by Maiden, except for a bit of metallica every now and then, some QOTSA, Ozzy and a few other metal lengends all i listen to is Iron Maiden.

Actually, that's not entirely true. They did do a cover Tribute to Judas Priest when they recorded "The Ripper" in the mid-90' s when Blaze was lead singer.

I know this because I have it on MP3 and it is excellent. Just search Kazaa for it and you'll find it.

Cheers,

Chris..

i consider a tribute different from a cover....covers bands just play cuz they like the song, tributes honor the band and shows appreciation for them....you might not get what im saying...too confusing...

Now Playing: Phish-David Bowie
Next Up: Dream Theater- The Great Debate
After that: In Flames- Jester Script Transfigured
