I never said football didn't require talent, but just not as much as baseball. Baseball ISN'T about whacking a ball as hard as you can (By the way, hitting the ball in the first place is a pretty good feat)

the thing is, "soccer" as you call it is hard. if it was easy it would just be your team and a wide open goal!

american football seems hard although never playing it i cant really comment, same with baseball but baseball dont seem that hard.

but rugby, now that's a sport!

Soccer....watching guys in shorts kick a ball around a field. The most boring sport to watch imo. Low scoring, repetitive, aimless. I used to play it too and I hated it then as I hate it now.

american football: watching guys in tight lycra suits and body armour twice the size of their body kicking (and throwing) a ball around a field.

baseball: watching guys in equally tight clothes hit a ball around with a stick, then run in circles


its not easy, if your playing a proper match, not just kicking a ball around on a field with a few people where scores usually reach double figures. you cant just 'kick a ball that's right at your feet into a huge ass goal', if you could then the only goalscorers would be goalkeepers, there wouldnt even be any need for other players. you have to actually get past midfield and defense players, and then past the goalkeeper.

Like I said, I played soccer for four years growing up. I played baseball for 6 years from little league to pony league and high school hockey and football for four years. I guess if you like to kick a ball for fun, play soccer. If you like to kick someone's ass for fun play football or hockey.
