OMG! ...put beer on yer CDs! -

I just watched this scientific prog that was about a researcher who happened to be a DJ,
he accidentally spilled beer on a CD, when it dried the bacteria had altered the mix, and
made the trax he was playing morph in and out between straight and erm, avant-garde?..
but referring to sounds that existed somewhere on the disc.
They then put some liquid on a disc of pics of designer furniture, added some type of bacteria
to the liquid and when that dried the CD then showed random horizontal slices of other pics
inserted into each pic, resulting in bizzaro combinations and some very cool imagery,
...I'm surprised that a "rigid" media like a CD can take on board these "downloads" without a computer.
Techno/Organic shit is true?.....[shitting pants] ...iieeeeeaaarrgh!! ed: [/shitting pants]

Dr Cameron Jones could be a genius; his colleagues even think he could shape our future.
Others think he could be the Renaissance man for the 21st century, because he’s
inventing ways for science and art to merge. Amazingly, one of the ways he’s doing it is
by growing fungus on CD’s. So Catalyst reporter Graham Phillips went to meet him at the
lab, but it turned out he’s doing his best work at night. He’s co-owner of Blue Velvet
Bar & Nightclub; it’s a joint venture with his mum. It’s here in this purpose built boutique venue
that Jones uses DJ equipment to create a crossover between Mathematical Modeling and art performance.
If this seems all too weird, wait till you see what happens when he grows fungus on CD’s ABC TV- Catalyst
