That so reminds me of the old hags at my golf coarse that got pissed cuz I went around them to play through. They came up in their cart going "You cant do that! We're having a woman's league tournament!" I said "Well, first off, if you wanted a private game, rent a space at the Honda Classics, not Latourette PUBLIC Golf Coarse, and secondly, you are all playing slow as hell, worse enough I had to sit behind you in traffic, I'm not going to sit behind you while you are at leasure, as well"
She got pissed, ran off, and told the ambassador (The waterboys in the goldcarts) Little does she know hes my neighbor. He told her that I'm the son of one of the Diplomat Chairman on Staten Island (which i'm not) and she left saying she was going to write the borough president. Lance (The ambassador) comes up and tells me this, and he goes "That's great, but she still needs the LAST NAME of the Chairman" The dumb bitch never asked my name.

This is a little different though. Agusta doesn't allow female membership period. So I think they have a point, but it's still funny.

If you run a business you have a right to allow whatever.
It's unfair that bars have a ladies night. When ladies can come in any day they want but choose not too.

I think the idea of ladies night is to actually draw women into the bars that men hang out in......It's nothing sexist.

Ya women are noramly turned off by the cigar smoke.
But thats no right though that the women protesting belive that they have the right to join what ever club/bissness they want to. Clubs/bisness's have the right to refuse serves to particular people or groups so the golfclub is not in the wrong about refusing women mebership

Well, maybe they aren't in the wrong by law - But by morals and todays standards, they are.
That is generally the idea behind PROTESTS.
If it was law - they would be charged.

Agusta has every right to restrict its membership to one sex. Just like the boy scouts have that right. The government can refuse to let them use gov funding or facilities, but thats about it.
You really dont want to open that pandoras box. Next thing you know, bazooka joe wnats to join the girls field hockey team and pyro wants to girl scouts. AND WE WOULD HAVE TO LET THEM. ed:
