i think with the extreme power base the republicans have, all the special interest groups backing Bush, it will be very very hard for a democrat to beat heem. The democrats remind me of a bunch of city states waging war amongst themselves, while the Reps just sit back and let them destroy themselves. It will be interesting to see who (Dean or Clark?) will get the majority dem vote.

I tell you, if today's leaders were expected to fight alongside their men like kings during the Crusades, we'd have a lot less wars. I just hope if there's a draft that the Bush girls get drafted, so I can make them walk point and when a baddie snipes them, pull out the ol' Barret and ventilate the baddie.

as for strykers comments, 1 they dont draft women and never will....2 the iraqi's are called "haji" by the troops in iraq, and 3 us troops already destroy the houses of suspected fedayin and guerilla suporters as it is so why not just take it the next level and kill them, terrorist, guerillas, and partisans aren't covered by the geneva convention and its only because of politcal corectness that we dont do what it takes to win...there are to many limitations put on the military, thats why there are casualties.

women fighting is wrong...just plane wrong on so many levels, anyways u don't have to go for his daughters he has plenty of nephews and other male relatives that could serve...and i bet they'd get a nice desk job, theodore rosevelt jr had to specificly ask to be allowed to go in with the 4th id on utah beach.
