guns dont kill people, death kills people. you cant die from a small piece of metal, you die from a heart attack or cancer. its a medical fact.

hunting is gay??????? When you cut your mommas strings let us know, let me guess you are from a broken home. No male influence. RIGHT. Guns are for a whole lot more than hunting and protection. We here in the greatest country in the world the USA!!!!! Have rights, among those rights is the right to overthrow the govt if "we the people" see it fit. You cant do that with sticks and rocks. Im not saying this would ever happen but we have to be able to do so if it ever did.

I could go on and on about this post, but if you think huntng is strictly about the meat or that you could kick anyones ass that decides to invade your home, then there is probably no reasoning with you.
Oh and BTW, clintons assault rifle ban expires next year. Dont expect to see the current administration renew it. hellfire: That law was so random and ineffective, it needs to die.

Australia controlled guns and our crime rate went up? What frigging planet are you on, mate? I am actually proud of the fact that only 69 people per year in Australia are killed by guns. Compare that to the US 11,000. Auto rifles and handguns should be controlled. Hunting rifles and shotguns are OK. In Australia, the only people I know who own guns are people who live on properties and guns are used to control pests and threats to livestock.
also, increasing the no. of guns is going to make the crime rate soar. the scenario you depict sounds OK. but arguements on the street are going to end up with someone dead rather than someone with a black eye.
Also if people come out with the "control guns, then you'd have to control other stuff like knives" is BS. You can run away from a guy with a knife. I'd much rather swallow my pride and bolt and live, rather than take on a guy with a knife.

jesus christ you fuckin idiots, it was a JOKE!!! that piece about guns not killing you is from GTA3. i believe in a certain amount of gun control. you dont need assault rifles and .50 sniper rifles, do you? just because we are allowed to have guns here doesnt mean every piece of hardware should be available to us. pistols, rifles and shotguns are fine. we live in a violent country where anyone can walk into your home or work and shoot you. i said hunting is gay because it is. what is the sport of finding an animal who is busy eating some grass and trying to find bitches, and then sneak up on him and shooting it in the face with a shotgun? it isnt even a one on one fight. oOo: oOo: hunting as a sport is fucking retarded. thats like ringing your doorbell and someone blasts you with a shotgun because you are in season.

How is hunting gay?
The thrill of tracking the kill is fun. Then taking your shot.
Its not really about the food.

Madmartagen, i'm not a hunter nor have i ever killed an animal with a gun but your assessment of hunting is totally retarded. Don't knock something until you've tried it. Oh, and another thing, i'd like to see you kick my ass if i ever broke into your house! I'd use you for a fucking battering ram to get into your neighbors house!
Now, getting back on topic, i'm mixed on gun control. I feel law abiding people who pass a background check should be allowed to own a firearm. The law should be tough on people who commit a crime with a gun. Commit a crime with a gun, you should be sent away for a very long time with no plea bargaining!
The world is my urinal

hehe, Someone's seen 'Bowling for Columbine' cool:
My $0.02 - No Offense intended, but from i hear/statistics, etc, America's Crime rate is ridiculous, so perhaps owning handguns and such is a good idea. However, I don't think Australia's crime rate is high enough to justify people owning Handguns for personal protection.
Also, Just for the record, I dislike Hunting. The idea of killing something defenseless for the sheer thrill of ending it's life doesn't float my boat, frankly. Call me old-fashioned. If it's a pest, or it needs to be culled, then sure. But not for the hell of it. hake:
Flame me if you will, but it's my opinion.

yeah, if you need to hunt, be fair and use a flintlock or bow, if you miss, the animal takes you out, if you're good, you take it out.
But criminals are a different story, I'd pump one full of lead, then pop in a fresh clip and repeat comegetsome:

did he buy full auto?
AFAIK you can still buy a full auto with a class-3 license, but you can't buy large-mag semi-auto rifles (whereas you could before without special permit, ie only passing background check)
