JBird is right all you guys do is bitch on how we cant find him and what do we do? WE find the bastard. Youve got no right to bitch about how bush is bad.
|
Where are the WMD? Wasn't that what this war was about? Also, Just because we live in Canada doesn't mean we can't see how much of a moron Bush is.
Another thing, why would we be bitching that the US hasn't found Osama? Last time I checked we supported the War on Terrorism in Afghanistan, and were helping search for him.

Perhaps the WMD will come out in his trial.
I am quite interested to see what the Iraqi people feel his punishment should be.

Yes, the only person who lives in Canada is the Mayor of Toronto.
Anyway, it was your fault. The fault of Ohio!!

Listen, no one said that the US or anyone else didn't care about the Iraqi people. I think most countries want whats best for the Iraqi people. I doubt you could truthfully say the Germans French or Russians don't want whats best for Iraq. However Bush used WMD as an excuse to go into Iraq, when his objective was obviously Saddam. As i've said many times before, I was lied to, and therefore the justification for war is not there. Its that simple in my mind.

I don't see how any country can "support the war on terror" and not be in Iraq, aside from saddam
and WMDs (anyone who thinks WMDs could not exist doesn't know much about saddams past), the
main threat remains the very same groups who turn up in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
These fundamentalist fighters don't give a fuck about saddam, he wasn't even a "good muslim" in their eyes.
I can't see how it's ok to fight them in one place, but step aside and leave it all to the US and UK in another.

Gimmie a break.
Iraq was a pre-emptive attack. In order to attack someone, you need justification. The justification wasn't there.
Iraq is not the war on terror, Iraq is a situation totally different. If the Bush administration handled the situation a little different, I think they could have had UN support and not be in the shit hole they are in now.
I suppose now that once Iraq is finished with, NK is next, then Iran, then China, then Liberia, then Chechnia, right?

why Chechneya?
The Russians seem to have that shithole under contorl (more or less)
It's become a "kill zone" much like Iraq, that is Islamic fundies and mercs go in, and get ground up by T-72s and MI-24s
I believe I read somewhere that Russia says more and more of the fighters they capture or kill are Jihadists, not locals.

Yeah...like the people organising raids and suicide car bombs etc. would have said
"Gosh, look the UN are here, not just Americans!!, let's stop all this and be nice!"
I think the blowing up of the UN compound (and the Red Cross) would indicate
"UN involvement" would have made little if any difference to this current situation.
