Hmmm....a "circling strafe" keystoke...interesting... yeah, it would be cool if you could do that... hehehe

im sure if you just held the fire button down and quickly moved your mouse along you would turn around and straf. of if joystick worked hold it left or right and you would turn round.
yes, im sure it is possible .
very hollywood-esque too .

Open your controls screen and
assign some keys to "turn left"
and "turn right".

You now have "circle strafe".

I would have thought he meant circling around an opponent and strafing, not just rotating in a circle and spraying bullets...

The art of circle strafing is not to move in a perfect circle around an opponent. Simple reason for this is because not all opponents move the same way.

Learn to use mouse-look and strafe keys, it's much better.

The whole point of circle strafing is to keep out of your opponent's field of view whilst still keeping your crosshair trained on then.

Moving in a perfect circle would just end up getting you confused yourself.

Oh, and it should be possible using Aliases. Good luck winning with it though.
