i downloaed some skins and applyed them to my guy and when i was playing no one could see them. is this normal? if it is whats the point of them other then to look at them in your multiplayer options.
BTW one of the skins was the santacluase one i wanted to show my christmas sprite with my Kar 98

yea it is normal because if you want some1 to see you they have to have the skins and so does the server

if you want to see your skin in game:

1) either enable "force models" which will make every skin on that team the skin you have selected

-OR-

2) dl a stock skin replacement pack, like the ones at my mod site, http://www.clangdc.com/battleforwwii/
which will change the appearance of the stock skins w/o using force models
