rofl i agree, a shoot out until one team wins
a tie is like old said, asking the question "what the fuck did we do" your better off not playing a game at all, save your fucking energy, its the same thing.

exactly. get rid of this gay tie thing in the nhl, add some fucking exitement into the regular season games and have a shootout after 1 20 minute overtime period. penalty shots are fucking awesome in hockey. that would even get me to watch the boring sport if they had penalty shot shootouts for tie games.
The smartest thing the NHL has done is making OT 4 on 4.
4 on 4 hockey rules.
Leafs are still #1 in the league, one loss won't change things.
Islanders came off a victory to the Devils who people say are better than the leafs when everyone knows New Jersey is pathetic without the best goalie in the league.
Leafs have done better than anyone expected of them, hell my dad who is a leaf fan predicted them not even making the playoffs this year.
Usually. Somtimes more or less, depending upon which day of the week you played. A Monday Night team that plays its next game on Saturday, for example, would only have 4 days between games, and only one of them would really be a day of rest. But then other times a team will play on Sunday and possibly not play the next Sunday becuase of a bye.
You guys don't understand. Sometimes NHL teas have to play 10 games in 15 nights. 3 20 minute periods are tiring enough, and if you make a 20 OT period and then a shoot out, the players are going to be dead. It's not feasible in the regular season. Peple have been asked if they want shoot out after 5 min OT, but the response has been mixed.
