I REAAAAAALLLY wish the bodies WOULDNT fade after 3 or 4 seconds. That's very arcadeish... Look at rogue spear and Ghost Recon. It's alot like a real war.... You can TELL that a battle went on...

Can someone please make a mod so bodies stay put? lol Thanks!

I dont think its possible to make a "mod" for them to stay. And by making the bodies disapear, it improves fram rate and makes teh game faster.

What about:

1. The bodies that float in mid-air.

2. The weapons that float in mid-air.

after the guy is shot.

I'm not sure why people have been under the impression that Medal of Honor: Allied Assault would be a sim-style game rooted in true "realism." The game has console roots (read: arcade), always has, and has always "felt" more real than it has actually been. Allied Assault is as realistic as any of the two previous version.

Plenty of game mags seem to have been under the same mistaken impression than MOH:AA was to be a "realistic" shooter, too, and expressed disappointment in its arcade-like elements. I'm not sure why, as its roots are well-known and no secret.

The game sounds realistic and has a realistic "feel" to it, but at its core its just an action game with some of the market's best bells and whistles. And that's that.

Well, people can make mods so people bleed, and mods to restrict weapons and zooms and ammunition, so thee must be a file regulating how long a body hangs around... Just make it indefinate.

Sadly, this game really COULD be the MOSt realstic ww2 game ever if someone put work into it. I understand it wasn't released to be realstic, but I mean with the AI and features(Just watch your captain talk as you approach omaha in a landing craft, or as you drive up the town in the very first mission, etc.) this could be heavily modded and made VERY realistic. The AI is terrific.... You can actually have smart gunfights with AI that will duck behiind a wall, and just stick his fun out, then roll the other way, etc.

If someone took the time to SERIOUSLY make a huge mod, it would add a whole new level of game play

Agree....my friend installed in his server a patch that makes the allies/axis rifle(not sniper rifle) have 16 bullets AND a scope....thats like sniping heaven....so there must be a patch for the bodies, or at least it is in the list of things to do for the patch makers.

ever watch black hawk down? and were that black dude with the 9mm comes and shoots the guy whos sitting down like 8 times? I thinking of not joing the army no more because I wouldn't wanna be in that situation lol, just sitting there and you couldn't do nothing cause you mag is out and a guy somes and shoots you and all the pain and the thoughtz going thru your mind, but its the consaquences (not sure if I spelled it right) you get for fighting no? Black Hawk Down totally changed my mind about joing the Infantry.

The bodies in my game don't dissapeare until there are 5 to 6 of them on screen at once. But the blood stains stick around for a while. At least that way, I know were I've been.

MMM... disappearing bodies.

I know it sucks ass (especially on Omaha)

But it saves those body pickers the hassle.

The infantry...pffah!

Do as I did - join the tankdivisions...much more fun....u get to use the MG, a big frigging 120 mm cannon AND you can run people over with a 50+ ton battletank!

MOH is bullsh!t compared to RL...trust me.

What about the Helmets that seem to spin on walls?

If bodies stayed after being killed. Guess what would happen to your frame rate! Everyone is already complaining about FPS by keeping the bodies around adds to polygons in the game. The more polygons the lower the frame rate.

And remember it's a game. You can only do so much with the current hardware on the market.
