I agree, what resolution you play at makes a big difference as well.

On the Omaha Beach level (single player) I probably average around 30 to 35 fps...I noticed once it topped out around 50fps, BUT, I also noticed a couple times it bottomed out down to 8 or 10 fps, depending upon what was going on around me at the time.

I play it at 1600 X 1200 resolution 32 bit, with every option turned on (yes even under advanced tab) and at the highest settings, compressed textures checked, all sound options set to the highest settings as well, set up for quad speakers.

I'm running it on a 1.8ghz P4, 512meg PC800 RDRAM, 64meg GeForce 3, SoundBlaster Audigy X-Gamer, 60 gig Seagate Barracuda hard drive

i see all these people posting FSP but hardly anyone puts there game settings up lmao. tell us what res you play with what setting turned up . my system

1.4 athlon
Asus a7v133 with Raid - 0
512 (one stick) samsung CAS@2 pc133
GF3 on 23.11 dets
3 HDD ( 2 on raid both 40 gig maxtors, 1 20 gig western dig)
other stuff that dont add to speed

i play MOHAA in 1280x1024x32
compressed textures
eveything check in advance settings everything on its highest setting no FSAA
i get between 95 in a hall to 25 on beach its safe to say i get 45 frames on the regualar with no overclocking but that snow map in multi slows my system down to like 20 to 15 dont know why. the graphics are good but i belive they couldve done a better job coding it as Max payne run better on my system with better graphics. No disrepect to the makers of the game cuase this game rocks all around

My system is a P3-733MHz, 256MB RAM, Voodoo3 3000, WinXP Pro, and I get an average of 12-15 fps in Omaha, in the worst parts of the level. I play with 800x600 resolution, all settings to medium, except Curve detail, that is in low. All the options of advanced are ticked, sound is the best possible. Considering my graphics card is old (and even my system is outdated), I feel good with the results. I tried to unload all the possible programs that are loaded automatically at the initialization of Windows, using Run/msconfig (I disabled even system programs!), and I can add only 2-3 fps more to the average, what is not enough for the trouble of deactivating all these programs.

to get fps, enter in the console "fps 1" no quotes. to turn it off, enter "fps 0".
