What about the soldiers killed by the truck? And, as they probably were excuted but, is there any proof of that?
Just get this in your head. In war...the object is to kill the enemy. This is why we aren't sad when we kill iraqis, because these iraqis could very well be trying to kill americans if they arent killed. We are sad when iraqi soldiers and al queda fighters who are doing their duty kill americans because WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE DONT LIKE SEEING OUR GUYS GET KILLED!!! In ww2 no one cried when we wasted nazis and in korea no one cried when we wasted gooks...ever since vietnamn people some how have gotten the impression that we're suposed to win wars by not killing the enemy and his population, its just not going to happen.[/quote:fafbb]

I know. thats not what I was talking about. I was talking about how people thought it was "awesome" and wanted to see more videos that brought you closer to the conflict.

dude its just hard for some people to accept that people die during war and that chaps their ass. i must agree though it is kinda pitiful to see those poor bastards get shot up, but those weapons they had were probably for coalition forces and that would have blown if they used those weapons

saw it on the abc nightly news on friday when they first premiered the video. The reporter said to "remove the kids from the room because you're about to see someone dieee" ( or something along those lines) and i couldn't help but wonder how many parents out there just let their kids stay in the room and watch that

I have a question about the last iraqi soldier that was killed in the video though, was he wounded and lying on the ground or was he inside the truck?

if he is only wounded and you leave him and he lives he will come back and fight harder than ever to get his vengeance. and saying he wouldnt have lived frome his enjouries then he would have layed there for hours or even days before dieng and thats worse than just killing him.

the way they did it was messed up. Couldn't they have landed that apache after they had already taken care of the hostiles in the area?

People have gotten way too damn technical about the rules of engagement and procedures of war battle.

There's the enemy, kill them. That's all you need to know.

While the primary goal of war can involve subjects previously aformentioned (land, money, liberation), the procedure to obtain that goal is usually to kill the other side, unless they surrender or do not give any initial resistance.

I think I'll go with Arkan on this one. Imagine how powerful one must feel while being in command of such supreme weaponry.

question: are you children who are saying "cool video lets see more" just morons or deranged?

Heres a newsflash, soldiers don't enjoy killing, they do it because its their job.
The reason soldier seem so callous about killing is because that's the only way you stay sane in war, not because they like taking another man's life.
