Well RTCW did bore me in the end. I liked it, a lot. But it was overall too *gloomy* and mmmmm.....boring. MOH (although I admit to only owning the demo so not a real good way of comparing) is slightly more realistic (gun shudder etc) and the sounds are better imho.

Still RTCW MP is still lots of fun!

Ah FREAK - our favorite bigot. I'll shed some light on "thread-relevance".

See? Probably not. You're welcome anyway.

when my mod gets completed(still need programming help), the dm maps will have objectives, and i guarantee, the gameplay will be way better then rtcw, and just as balanced. itll be command point type of playing, but command points will be in houses and churches, and not out on a useless patch of street.

2015 didnt put in all the multiplayer content they wanted cause of time, so the community will do it.

See. heres the problem I have with the MOH MP - not really a problem but here goes. MOH really wasn't released as a MP game. It just got latched on as that, from a kick-ass demo. Peoples expectations for the full version just exploded. And it really didn't deliver in my eyes because perhaps the game was rushed - since we don't work for the company we'll never know.

And yes, as "cheesy" as RTCW MP may be, you have to admit they are fun. It is a shame there is no standard DM, but ALL the maps are objective, and force you to work as a team - or you'll lose. I think the DESTRUCTION map on RTCW, with the flags on the streets (haha) was one of the funnest experiences ever (the two flags close to each other after the 3rd map closest to the AXIS is the hardest spot to take). If someone can come along and mod these current maps (without a mod-kit I might add, shame on 2015), and add some variety besides PLANT BOMB - then this game may well gain on its peers. So far, it hasnt.

Good luck.

And FREAK? A bigot will never know he's a bigot. That's kind of their charm. That and them assuming a person is a bigot for calling them one - interesting logic that.

There was this one rather old WWII game. (I believe it was called WWII GI)
In the "firteam" multiplay of that you could choose to play as a medic. You had a Thompson and to heal you would walk up to someone and press spacebar.
There should have been something like that in MOHAA.

Went to play online this morning in RTCW and I just couldn't get into the game.

It's just something about MOH that I much prefer. To me MOH is like controling a small GI Joe man, a lot more realistic then RTCW.

Am I the only one feeling this way?

What's your take on this?

I just love MOHAA! I'm 48 years old, cop for 27 years and I feel like a big kid playing this game, just having a blast!

yes...i think MoH is better than RTCW, bacause in multiplayer you dont being shot in the head three times and still calling for medics...
But something is missing at MoH...how about a medic who heals you, when you got really hurt....=)

I think MOH is way better. If i had to choose only one catagory to comment moh on, it would be the fact that the actual character physics are made very well. You dont run 100MPH, your jumps are short (and real), and your guns seem to weigh you down. Also, the character movements are great.
Just think, this game is gonna be the next half-life once EA releases the game editor... At least i think so..

Well, I've been playing both MOH and RTCW these last few weeks, and I can say that the multiplayer aspects of RTCW are far more balanced and thought out than those of MOH.

Interesting. First you say it's unrealistic to to be shot in the head and have a medic come and give you meds, then you say it's a feature you'd like to see in MOH. However, I think it's a little unrealistic to have a rocket explode next to you - go down to 1 life - take out the ZOOKA man - and then go find 1 or 2 stray health packs and be brought back to full strength. Uh huh.

I dont think damage-realism were two points this game was going for. But I do agree RTCW is a bit, kooky - but I like it's MP aspects, which is why I'm playing it more than MOH. It's just a frag fest right now, and until they've modified some of the ingame levels for MP (not the modded crap out right now), or release a MP Pack, my time will lean more towards RTCW.

Too much realism, and the game would just suck. I think MOH has a good balance between realism and playable, and no bloody zombies!!!!

RTCW would have been lightyears better if they had scrapped the stupid dead things, and in their place included a couple of extra nazi type soldiers.

I play em both and they both are cartoony. If you want to play for real, play Ghost Recon.

I have more fun playing MOH and Wolfie but if I want the crap scared out of me I will fire up GR.
