Agreed, according to hollywood, the US was the only country to do anything in the war.
Look around, find a couple of good books and start reading, there were more countries in the war than the US.

Yepp but they had the best tank the T34. The soldiers that were commmanded by Tjukov were good soldiers maybe some others but that the only good soldiers in the red army I know about. They had very good industri (slaveworking) also so they could easily take over the hole Europe.

Who is "we"?

as others have said you may want to read a *little* more before posting such obvious nonsense.

The second world war would have been a whole lot different if the US hadn't (finally) joined in. For that they have my utmost thanks. But please don't say "we are the best" when history clearly shows this to be not the case.

Many people were allies. The allies won. Please don't disrespect all the nations that fought and died (many before the US turned up).

I hope this thread dies...........

And for worst performing country? If you knew ANYTHING about this subject you would have to say FRANCE which folded in 10 frickin days!

german tigers outgunned and out-armored the russian t-34s but the t-34s were still great tanks. Russians by far contributed the most to the war effort and showed no signs of slowing even though they lost many soldiers. The US was the most decisive though, and if wasn't for them, the Russians would have most likely destroyed the German Army and then dominated all of Europe.

i would say germany is te best country in ww2 u gotta think they were outnumbered on all fronts and they still held out for a very long time, they had superior technology but not numbers, like what good is a tiger tank if there is no one to commandeer it? personaly i like germans, i hate nazis (there's a difference you know) and i think some of you should stop refering the german armed forces as nazis the nazis are political like how often do you hear republican soldiers? any ways im glad hitler is dead

Italy? I didn't know there was so many fighting by the Germans in Italy. I thought they only once had to help Mussolini back on his throne.
