most people dont like LOTR cuz its too overhyped or something, but i like the movies, they are well made and pretty accurate to the books, or so i hear. i havent read the books personally...i think they are possibly the best movies i have ever seen[/quote:14a2f]

The only thing I didnt like was the ending to The Return of the Kind. It was dragged on and boring and I heard that it didnt follow the books. My friend read the books and he said something like the orcs attacked the hobbit village at the end or something.
It was just tacky.

It was really imaginative though. You really dont see movies like that anymore that actually tell a good story. Its a newage tall tale. It was very creative and it was nice how they tied everything together.

Maybe we will see it on the dvd as an alternate ending. Two towers extended had like 50 minutes of extra footage. beer:
[quote:2b124]But biggest props for Braveheart and The Patriot.) [/quote:2b124]

Patriot was historically inacurate, bias and no where near one of Mel's best performance's. The only thing it had going was the battles. *I seem to remember fake critics being made up to some how glorify the movie. I remember my American history teacher showing us the movie in class and Telling us. "This really pissed off a lot of British people." Im only showing you the movie to kill some time before exams". (The church burning scene was a load as well).[/quote:2b124]

Who gives a shit if it was or was not accurate. That has absolutely no bearing on the performance that Mel Gibson gave. Leave it to some trying-to-be-cool moron to try and use THAT as a flame.

The performance was nothing compared to alot of his work. The script was tu mushy. Yet instead of responding with a bit of brains, you decide to bring it down to flaming. The script wasm ushy/ so the perfromance was mushy. If the script is garbage in the first place then most likely the role won't be to good even if the actor is Mel Gibson. period. beer: cheers.

Um, you just entirely changed your entire stance there. Unfortunately I'm not psychic and can't anticipate your bashing of the movie going from "it was inaccurate and n00bish" to "the script was mushier than my mom's boobs."

And acting out intense emotions (which he did very well) is fecking difficult. You try pulling something like that off some time. And no it doesn't count when you're getting it in the ass from your dad.

The brilliance called Noctis.... rolleyes: The role wasnt worthy of being mentioned. Yet you mentioned it. You don't have much of a clue if your consider that role as one of Mel's best. Really. sleeping:

I know they filmed at least one alternative ending where the 101st Airborne reinforce
Minas Tirith...and a new character, a Private Jackson, takes a leading role in sniping orc
and troll alike, wether or not this will be included in the Deluxe Box Set remains as yet unknown.
