Ok, I am in the 3rd impact crater in the minefield after the bunker. I have 3 health and the trench is just a few feet away. Every time I try to get to the trench, I think I get blown up (or shot, can't really tell which). What I do is I shoot both soldiers with the MG-42, then put my weapon away (with q to run faster) and head for the trench.

I die every time. Any tips?

Please don't tell me to get to the bunker with full health. It's impossible. My first try, I was at the bunker with 6. On the 2nd try, I had 12. I got shot getting to the 3rd crater, bringing me down to 3. Is there medic or a first aid kit (I'm on medium) in the trench? HOw can I get there? I try to avoid the mines, but I die. Please help!

Run to the left, twards the bunker. You'll go around the mine field and jump into the trench. Hope this helps.

First off, make sure you clear the MG42 nests before you run. I was in the same situation, then like Ladmo said, make towards the left and the cliff face. They can't shoot you there, then stick to the bunker and jump down into the trench.

BUT make sure you snipe the gerries before you make the run fer it, cause you'll just get smeared all over the landscape otherwise.

I'm kinda confused. Go to the left? Do you mean hug the wall where the snipers are on top of? I do shoot the snipers. I shoot them that their helmet flies off.

I am in the 3rd crater all the way to the right. Using this diagram, what is left? If I face the trench and go to the left side, there is a M (mine) sign. So, I would shoot both snipers, then what?

Facing the bunker (objective) hug the left wall(the wall the mg42s are on top of).

Black ranger, thanks. I fixed the map. So, I guess I would have to get to the 2nd crater and then hug the wall, which would be on my left and then get to the trench.

Alright, on my map, I'm at the top "C." I am there with my original full health of 12. I shoot the MG-42 nest on the right and then when I make the run for the bunker hugging the wall facing the bunker, I get killed. I can't tell if it's from a mine b/c I do run left of the 2 wooden sticks standing up in the ground. I thought the way to go was to hug the wall and just go straight to the bunker? It's had to try to kill both MG-42 snipers and then make the run b/c as soon as I kill the 2nd guy, the first guy is back. If I step back to try to get the guy on the left, I get shot.

I'm sorry guys, but please put up with me. This is very frustrating for me. What do I do?

I had about 76 health when I got to the Mine field. What worked for me was not worring about the MG's. I watch the path the two soldiers where running before they got shot. I alos watched which direction the lead soldier turned before he got shot. That is the path I took. I took some hits from the MG, but I still had 35 health when I got to the trench.

I might have been lucky, but once I figured out how to get up the beach, I had 95 health at the first medic, 60 at the Medic by the barbed wire fence, and 76 at the bunker before the mine field.

I recently finished omaha beach level on hardest difficulty setting - didn't like the level much - too scripted where you have to go and how fast you can go and where you have to wait and what happens to the other allies. -
but anyway i was stuck in same place but you are running through the mine field! (i did the same). W
When you are in crater facing trench that you have to get to, you have to go to your left (left of some barbed wire - and closer to bunkers) where there are no sticks and no signs saying (minefield). This is a longer route than running straight ahead to the trench but there are no mines so it is the only way to go.

Update: I am in the crater by the hill with 31 health. That's much better than the 12 I had. I can get hit and perhaps still make it.

Lysis, you are saying I have to go into the crater by the barbed wire, not by the hill? That's no problem, but my problem is this. When I take out the 2 gunners, by the time I stand up, get out of the sniper view and turn around and run out of the crater, I get shot right away. I have reached a few feet from the bunker however.
