Yeah I know, but why is fighting more important that protecting airfields, resources, escorting prisoners protecting bases creating infastructure etc? You need all parts to win a war. And all parts are equally honourable.

And I don't really think each individual gets to choose whether they get to fight on the front line or not. You're arguments are irrevelant.

Im sorry to break in like this again, but why dont you americans make your own ATW's then?
Last time i checked, most of them are made here, in Sweden, at the Bofors factory..
Why? Because you cant be good at everything..
We swedes didnt make our own AR, we bought licenses to modify the belgian FNC, which came out as the AK5 series..
I mean, why bother making the shit when its already been done?

Jeesh, this is going nowhere it seems..

the reason there are no Canadians in games is that there were no new movies portraying Canadians in WWII. You see for some reason the gaming companies have it in their heads that all gamers are pre-pubescent console-kiddies who have not seen any war movie earlier than Saving Private Ryan. They seem to ignore the mature audience who have also seen classics like The Devil's Brigade and The Longest Day and actually know something about the war outside of what they learned in late-90s Hollywood.

This is the same reason that there are no Pacific Theater titles, the only movies as of late were Pearl Har-bore (more of a soap-opera during WWII rather than a true war movie) and Windtalkers, which I hear isn't much of a movie either.
And remember, we're all much to young and stupid to remember the older movies about the Pacific War, so to us gamers it doesn't exist rolleyes:

this guy speaks the truth,
why re-invent the wheel when you can buy it from your allies?

EDIT: BTW. the famous 20mm Oerlikon and 40mm Bofors anti-aircraft guns used by the US Navy were of Swiss and Swedish design respectively.
Does that mean the US "didn't have balls"? No, we were just smart, if we didn't we'd be stuck with the POS 1.1" "chicago piano" AA gun and our ships would be bomber-bait.

I know for a fact that all the countrys that were involved in the spanish civil war that took place before WW2 used the Bofors 40 mm..
Its been the standard for a big bunch of AA's after the war..

I think all the canadians missed the point here... I could care less WHO is in a video game. hell... I didn't even read the first post, I just knew that making fun of canada would piss you all off and would you get your panties in a bunch...

For all i care, put ethernopians in a fuck'n game... In fact, I have no clue what game these "canadians" are even going to be in.

Seeing you all get pissed and serious because someone made fun of your country has been exactly what I wanted, expected and got. Pushing your buttons has been fun.

I want to thank you all for the entertainment.

Rules I live by... in internet forums...

1) I don't fight on the internet... (Even if you win, your still a retard)
I however enjoy talking shit to people just to get them all pissed off.

2) I don't get "humiliated" on the internet...
How can I feel "humiliated" when I can't see you or talk to you? It's
simply not possible.

So no, this is not a lame attempt to prevent myself from being humiliated. The fact is, is I was intentionally pushing your buttons, just to see you react.

Infact, any "flame" i have, or ever will do on the internet isn't because I upset, angry, pissed, or any other negative emotion. It's because Its funneh... and I like seeing funneh shit.
