Can someone explain the steps I need too do to get onto a MP game??? I hear how cool they are, but never knew how too do it, I would appreciate any help on it.
Thanks

Hey Mal, just so you're aware, in the States patch 1.1 means we no longer have to use Gamespy ... and if you can avoid using Gamespy, more power to you.

To the original poster: Download the patch for the game and upgrade to version 1.1. The patch will integrate a multi-play browser right into your game. When you want to play, fire up the game, go to the multiplayer section, go to "join game," pick a server and get ready to play! It's that easy.

Hope that helps.

once you get a list of servers from gamespy or from the in game browser in version 1.1, you'll want to sort the list by ping (i think it is sorted this way by default), and you should join one of the servers with the lowest number ping - (like from 0 - 300).

I was just thinking the same thing; tough to post to message boards without a connection. Looks like "that thought just came to me," but another one missed its mark! ;-)
