.....and you call yourself luckey.

There are a few things that affect how many hits you get on someone. First and foremost, you should be playing on serevers running realism mods (ie. "[C*R]", where the * can be any number of letters). The reason I say this is that the SMGs are ridiculously low powered in the shipping game.

Second, shoot guys in the head when you can. Though this is not as obvious as it was in RtCW, it seems to work well. I've noticed some damage reducers for helmets in the single player scripts, but I don't know if these apply to MP.

Third, each gun has it's own bullet spread. Get to know yours by starting up MOHAA, creating your own 1 player MP game and shooting patterns in a few walls. You'll get the idea.

Fourth, your bullets spread even more from moving and it takes a half sec for you to recover the weapon when you stop shooting. Short bursts work well if you're going for accuracy at distance. If you're using an SMG, don't even bother much at distance (but sometimes you can get lucky).

When you open up and let her rip, after a few rounds your shots become totally random within a given area. This is only recommended at very short distances.

The best way to get a guy? Shoot him from behind! In the noggin!
