Purple heart uncovered.

I was on planet MedalofHonor and on the main page it says, "and we've unlocked the mystery of the purple heart." But on the page it isnt on there. Anyone see that?

IF you go the the medal's section of their site, they talk about the Purple Heart at he end of the page. They say that the Purple Heart file is actually in one of the pk3 files!

I looked before and never saw it! Interesting!

IMHO, IF (note the captials!!) it is in the game, it will only be an Easter Egg! It wont have are real meaning!

its in pak1 called purpleheart_med.tga

could be something left over from the beta they took out at the last minute. if anyone earned it it was me i got my ass shot out countless times on omaha

Please, this very question was answered in the board of devs. Elmagoo said they were gonna have it as one of the medals, but they scratched and it's not in the game, just the picture in one of those files.

I've been wounded in battle hundreds of times on MOH and I still don't have a purple heart...silly huh?

If I received the Purple Heart for everytime I was injured or killed in MOHAA, I would run out of space on my hard drive.

I can get the Purple Heart to work BUT to do so you have to replace one of the other medals already being used! Which is crap! I want it so you get ALL, yes ALL of the medals! NOT simply replacing one with another!

IF I could just figure out where in the coding it mentions giving the awards, THEN I should be able to get it to award you the purple heart!
