ok , Buddha is not zen anymore than zen is buddha. He is not a god nor is he worshiped.

The story goes as such......

Buddha was born a prince in India. He saw the suffering of his people and chose to become a monk. ( This is not going to make sence to you unless you understand how the class structure in India works.....and I am NOT getting into that. )

He reached enlightenment and instructed others how to reach it.

He looked like Gaundi without the glasses. And thats history.
