Default The Passion...whose gonna see it? - 02-25-2004, 09:56 PM

Mel Gibson's new movie "The Passion" which tells the story of the life of Christ, comes out tomorow. It's suposed to be really good, like the most accurate portrayel of the passion ever made, it looks real good. I don't know about where u guys live but theaters around here are screening it in like 13 outta their 24 screens in anticipation for the mass sell outs. I'm almost definitly gonna see it tomorow, what about you guys?

I'm in no rush, but I will see it.

On CNN they showed people coming out of the theatre crying and saying "Thank you Jesus". That pissed me off a little bit, because I think that people should know what Jesus "did" through Church etc. not a movie, but whatever.

If they're seeing the movie, odds are they know what He did. Seeing it visually just enhances your appreciation for what He did. It's kind of like the opening Omaha Beach scene of SPR.

Jesus is the man, and Mel Gibson took on Jet Li so I think I owe it to him at least.
