Yes they still use them right now they are running out of parts if you look at the most recent photos they are missing the refueling probe door on a lot of Tomcats. Once something happens to a 70 billion dollar aircraft carrier when the Super hornet is defenting it they will bring back the Tomcat fast. The Hornet was a great plane before they updated it now the Super Hornet sucks. Also the tomcat can go so fast it can melt its canape. I think we will be seeing the F-14 tomcat alot longer then we think.Or we can steal some from Iran they still have some about 80 just sitting there and 12 flying still.

As you can see on the nose the door is missing

And for anyone that cares they canceled the comanche helicopter program.
