Hey Werner, Quake and Counterstrike are two *entirely* different worlds with different play styles, different players and different game mechanics. Lumping the two together is like lumping together, say, Outrun fans and Legends Of Grand Prix fans, or J.R.R. Tolkien fans and Piers Anthony fans.

The worlds of Quake and Counterstrike, while there is certainly some crossover, are seperate beings in almost every way. About all they have in common are guns and a first-person viewpoint.

...and foul-mouted brats. When I have challenged some of the worst offenders online they mention their backgrounds (as some sort of evidence they're more "legit" than me) and CS and Quake are the two most popular responses.

I don't have enough time to join a clan but I do like realistic, "historical" online play. It seems people like that are doomed to an online environment dominated by these little punks. I have tried over twenty different servers in the past weekend alone, and not one, not ONE was free of this scourge.
