I am getting a new sound card becuz I can't hear sound in counter-strike what sound card should I get I have no clue.

I am willing to spend 50 - 200 dollars for a sound card. rock:

sounds odd, if ur sound works with other applications but not CS, does it work with original half life?? Are u sure ur not just being retarded

Sopposevly Audigy soundcards transmit the in-game voice like crap. So you may want to get either an Audigy 2 or a different brand card.
