This poor guy sliced his hand open, and took pics of the splatter. This might help, if u want to create ur own blood splatter

If you want to see what blood splatter looks like, in real life, take a bit of water and food coloring, along with a straw. Suck up some water. If u want splatter on a wall, it should look like if u held a paper up against a wall and sprayed some of the water . Be sure to push REAL hard, and ull ge the idea. if its a dripping blood, fill the straw and let it drip. Low level low velocity blood should be prefectly round. High level, high velocity should be a round dot, with smaller dots around it. Test it out. In the following link u can see examples of the different patterns blood splatter comes in.

I think that should help you with ur blood.
Remember, blood like the color u got in ur current picture is high in oxygen. Thats why, blood coming from ur finger, isnt the same color as blood coming from your mid thigh or neck. dried blood is a deeper red. oxygen is gone.
In this picture, u can clearly see dried up oxyginated blood. note the deep red, and varied tone. Blood is cells with a liquid called plasma. Its like sand in water. If u stop shaking the water, sand falls to the bottom. Scabs. the diferent tones are formed from diferent amounts of cells deposited. So wits important to have various tones when u create blood splatter.

Hope this helps with ur blood problem.
BTW, I think the blood on the lightbulb isnt right because it doesnt have an orange glow to it. Note the litte emblem on the bulb. we all know its white when hte light is off, but there it looks orangish. Give the blood a more orangy glow to it. Also, because there is nothing next to it. we can clearly see through the lightbulb, but there is nothing to its left. Maybe put the rest of the pic in.
and as i said before, the blood should be much darker
