being the music fanatic i am, i really know what im talking about. the Black Album was meh...had a few catchy songs like Holier than Though and Through the Never, but its much better than load or reload. The only songs i liked off Load and Reload were The Unforgiven II and Until It Sleeps, but even those got old. I thought Garage, Inc. was great. i love it. some of the covers are really good. I love the Astronomy cover, they did it perfectly. I'll agree that Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, and ...And Justice for All were 100x better, but still they are kind of over-hyped. Metallica used to be my favorite band, i used to adore them, but now i realize that they arent as good as i thought. Powerful yes....talented? meh, kinda. i dont know, people just make metallica to be the BEST BAND IN THE WORLD. there really is no best band, its all opinion and all perspective.

Very true. Metallica's a good band, but they get a lot of blind praise. I have to disagree with your opinion of Holier than Though and Through the Never, but you seem to know what you're talking about, so I respect your opinion.
