I never understood the problem with a bit of sterotyping, if some of it wasn't true then the sterotype wouldn't exist.

All the Italians are stylish but their army sucks
All the French smell and eat snails
All English people have bad teeth and spend the whole day drinking tea and going on about cricket and football. (soccer) this is true, trust me, although my teeth are fine...
All Yanks are patriotic but suck at geography
All Canadians are lumberjacks with red stripey hats & a bush jacket
All Aussies wear cork hats and sing 'tie me kangaroo down sport' and speak in that strange way where every sentence ends in a higher note than the start.
All the Germans have no sense of humour but nick all the deckchairs/sunbeds
All Japanese people love cameras and gadgets
All Russians drink vodka
All Scottish people have red hair or wear kilts
All Welsh people do sheep

I may have insulted half the forum by now, but whats the big deal? Sterotyping is only a bit of fun & I think it's a great way of building up a picture of peoples national character. rock:
