we did have snipers in the USA but they never 'camped' per se ... they were always out with us in support of the troops... the times that they WOULD camp they'd be out on their own... in support of a combined arms unit, not usually, excepting to get the high ground and cover us.

Not sure what you were sniping in the USA but one of the things you learn in sniper training is how to find a spot in which to observe and or interdict the enemy. Sometime that may require hours, days sometime weeks in staying in the one spot. By Spinaltaps definition that is a camper.
The first thing you do in sniper training is start building your ghillie suit. One of the functions of the suit is to hide the sniper.
Enough said about snipers/camping. If Spineless wants to whine about it he can.

GOSH, it is game. and this is the internet,
most of the time when im the last person on The Hunt I wait for the Axis to come in this one door while i shoot them while crouching in a croner because there are more than 3 GUYS.
i mean camping isnt that bad. and no its not good while ervyone is waiting. BUTTTT, if you are being an a-hole like some saying thta capming is not good or good, then if you thought about it maybe you can do both. since the game is a game u can charge around killing everyone, i like that BUT if its obj-based u have something like 1 life then u have to wait till next game then its arlight to camp, i dont mean like sitting there waiting 2 hours till the guy thats pinging out leaves. i would really like to see a game where u have to wait a day to play again or something similar. maybe u have to go to a hospital for 30 mins or 3 mins i dunno. and dont start cussing me out either. im trying to let u guys in on a secret of this game...

and like this guy said, i dont like campers on OPEN maps like omaha but to me, camping is good on The Hunt

Death Match
Team Death Match

You can camp to your little lifes content on the other 3....but on OBJECTIVE you have guess what...yep an OBJECTIVE to accomplish! Why is this soo fucking hard to understand?

Here is a definition of objective so that the campers understand. Also no an Axis player on Omaha or V2, CAN NOT be a camper as they are trying to defend.

But there is camping in this game.

To me camping is waiting for people to respawn and shooting them. Other than that its called defence. The allies objective is to destroy and the axis id to "defend" The Allies need to work as a team to take out the snipers so they can blow up the objective.Random players playing online usually dont work as a team they do the Rambo thing (me too). Camping or defence its just part of the game and its not going to change.

ah yes nothing like respawn killers. especially on omaha. the germans complain about snipers saying "ALLIES DIDN'T STORM THE BEACH WITH SNIPERS" yeah well the germans didn't sit in the boats killing allies.
