Any post-preteen who tries to paint the goth lifestyle is "original" and forward thinking should be shot. Sorry, but this is true. Goth, emo, whatever is the new cult of the 21 century, a collection of half-thought-out ideas and "expressions" preening about as a fundemental belief system.

"Oh look at how unique I am that I pray to mother earth and practice archiac rituals too taboo for the rest of society. Look at me as I scream about being an individual, while being as stereotypical and unidentifiable as the next goth in line.
