crashing problem

u have a corrupted file it seems just reinstall the game if u do it right and with 1/2 a brain u wont delete your saved games

The game is crashing over and over again right at the same point....the first save after reaching the "top of the bunker" I get a message saying "unsupported marker type 0x4d" Anyone have any idea what this is and if so, any idea what to do from this point? Thank you.

Right...I was thinking of reinstalling. What is the best way to save my current status in the game when reinstalling? Thanks for the help
